Autrefois La Modiste nestles in the heart of the picturesque village of Saint Clar, overlooking the 13th century market place. This peaceful village, boasting two bastides and situated in the Lomagne area of Gascony, is an ideal base for exploring one of the most beautiful and renowned parts of south-west France. The area is famous for such gastronomic delicacies as foie gras, garlic, melons, Armagnac, and Gascon and Madiran wines. During your stay, you will also enjoy discovering the diverse colourful landscapes and historic architectural treasures of the area.
Both guest rooms are situated above the Autrefois la Modiste apartment. Guests are welcome to relax in the host’s quiet lounge and enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the dining room.
